Lady Gaga won all three categories she was nominated for at the UK's Brit Awards.  The awards are the British equivalent of the Grammys, with most winners selected by a vote of more than 1,000 industry members.  Gaga collected awards for best international female artist, best international breakthrough act and best international album for The Fame.  Reports also indicate that she traded in her lavish theatrical stage performance for an emotional tribute to Alexander McQueen, the British fashion designer who died last week.  Nothing was technically wrong with the tribute performance.  However, after the macabre 2009 VMA performance and extravagant 2010 Grammy performance, this one just seemed to fall a little flat.
