After starring in Glitter, arguably one of the worst movies ever made (Yes, even factoring in J Lo's work), it seemed impossible that she would ever be cast again.  However, following brief stints in other celluloid travesties like State Property 2, the music superstar won over critics with her performance as a social worker in Oscar-winning movie Precious.  Now, Carey believes she could be part of that Hollywood acting world.  The singer has gone so far as to name Woody Allen as the director she would most like to work with.  

The Precious star told E! News: "I've never met him, but Bullets Over Broadway is one of my favorite movies ever - I can quote every word, I think it's amazing."  Vivid images of Woody Allen singing Mariah's hit song "Obsessed" immediately comes to mind.  "Why you so obsessed with me - your delusional."  Mariah must not realize that only 6% of SAG actors are even working and despite Precious, we still remember Glitter.

Mariah seems to have thought out her future acting work saying: "I'm going to try to be careful about what I do. You've got to work with people who bring you to another level, and you have to surround yourself with people you can fully give yourself to."
