iTunes TV Downloads May Soon Be Cheaper

In what would most likey provide a huge boost in TV episode sales, computer and gadget maker Apple is talking with television networks about selling TV shows on iTunes for half price.  This is great news for digial media consumers.  According to AFP, Apple wants to sell the shows for $.99 instead of the standard $1.99 and coincide it with the US release of the iPad in March.  Apple is reportedly keen to know whether selling the TV shows for less would help lift video sales on iTunes.  AFP says the Financial Times has reported that some US broadcast and pay television networks have agreed to the lower prices.
