Charlie Sheen Out Of Rehab And Back On Set
Charlie Sheen is returning to work after a brief stint in rehab. According to Sheen's publicist, He returns to the set of "Two and a Half Men" for the March 19 taping. Two weeks ago, production of CBS' top comedy was suspended after Sheen checked into a rehab clinic in what was called "a preventive measure." With Sheen returning, CBS will be able to salvage this season. 18 of a 24 episode order has already been filmed and a week long break was already built into the schedule.
Two and a Half Men has remained a ratings giant for CBS despite Sheen's very public personal problems. The series' most recent new episode was the night's top-rated show, capturing 17.5 million viewers and hitting a season high among adults 18-to-49.
The future of the show is still up in the air as Sheen is due back in court March 15. Sheen and his wife Brooke Muller were involved in an alleged domestic dispute in Aspen, Colorado, on Christmas Day that resulted in felony charges against Sheen.
