UPDATE:  In a bad break for Spoiler fans, dress rehearsal ran late and we did not get them in time.  The voting rounds of American Idol begin tonight.  There are a couple of very partial spoilers from Idol Forums.  However, FULL SPOILERS will be available sometime between today's dress researsal and the start of the live show.  Check back for the update.  There will be a couple of changes from Season 8.  Unlike past years, there will be a theme for the semifinal rounds.  The song theme for the semi-final round will be “Hot 100 Top 10’s from 1972-2010”, but allegedly the producers are not enforcing it.  But, the theme is so broad that it is more of a non-theme anyway.  Unlike last season, contestants will be able to play instruments during their semifinal performance.
